Scoring dimensions
When a review has enough evidence for public scoring, HealthAIdir uses five healthcare-specific dimensions. Scores should be shown only after hands-on access, trial workflow testing, or a demo-backed review event.
- Accuracy and evidence quality: public validation evidence, source quality, limitation statements, reviewability, and whether claims are current and specific.
- Workflow fit: intended users, care or operating setting, EHR or system fit, exception handling, handoff quality, and whether the tool solves a defined buyer problem.
- Compliance and data posture: HIPAA, PHI, BAA, security, audit, retention, access-control, subprocessor, and governance signals. Public claims are treated as evidence to verify, not as approval.
- Price-to-value: pricing transparency, implementation cost, support burden, measurable value path, and whether the buyer can test value before scaling.
- Vendor stability: product maturity, ownership, support model, update history, category focus, and whether the vendor gives enough evidence for durable procurement review.
Evidence standards
HealthAIdir uses public vendor materials, documentation, security pages, regulatory or standards sources, public product pages, editorial testing notes, demo-backed observations, and dated source reviews.
If HealthAIdir cannot verify a claim, the review should say so rather than turn vendor copy into certainty. Healthcare AI claims can change quickly, so source dates and verification notes matter.
Healthcare claim boundaries
HealthAIdir does not certify that a tool is HIPAA compliant, clinically safe, billing compliant, coding compliant, legally sufficient, secure, or fit for a specific organization.
Buyers should verify every material claim with current vendor documentation, contracts, security review, privacy review, pilots, qualified internal reviewers, and local governance.
